About Our President
Rubel Rayhan, EA President
Rubel Rayhan, graduated from Bangladesh Marine Academy, a branch of World Maritime University, Sweden in 1995. He started his career as a Merchant Marine Engineer in Bangladesh but not for too long. Sea life did not suit him very well, so he decided to change the career path. In pursuit of a new career, he came to America back in 1997. After completion of multiple accounting courses and certifications, he was able to find a job in a small accounting firm in Manhattan in 2000 where he was trained to perform bookkeeping for small business clients. His new career in the accounting field began and this time he fell in love with it. He realized that his passion for accounting is inevitable. He has not looked back since, has worked with over 500 individual and business clients from 2000 to 2015.
Rubel has achieved his EA license in 2015. (Enrolled agent (EA) status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. They advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trust, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements.)
Rubel decided to start his own tax and accounting business in the same year (2015). His hard work, dedication, and passion to serve clients’ needs has made him one of the most recognized faces in the community.
Rubel is a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), National Society of Accountants (NSA) and National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
